What is Southern District Women’s Golf Association of Arizona?
It is an organization that plans and conducts golf events for its members and assists member clubs upon request. Current membership is comprised of over 30 golf clubs located in Benson, Green Valley, Marana, Oro Valley, Rio Rico, Sierra Vista, Tubac, Tucson area and Wilcox.

Southern District sponsors two tournaments run by our local SDWGA Rep at our club (payouts in flights will be added to your club account).
Del Sud (Eclectic) Tournament : This is a two-day eclectic (net ringer) tournament. To be held at the same course Jan – April. Click to see all the latest Eclectic winners.
Telegraph: This is a one-day flighted net tournament among Southern District members of record on the day of the tournament. To be held Oct – Dec. Click to see all the latest Telegraph winners.
How much does it cost?
Yearly dues are $10 per person (Jan-Dec) payable with your yearly MPWGA dues. Of the $10 dues, $5 is retained by MPWGA for payouts in our 2 local tournaments and the other $5 goes to SDWGA.
Why join?
Playing in SD tournaments provides individual and team competition, provides an opportunity to play various golf courses and provides a way to meet and make new friends from other southern Arizona golf clubs.
